Jennifer Lasenby-Lessard received her B.A. (Honours) in Psychology from the University of Guelph, her M.A. in Educational Psychology from the University of Toronto and her PhD in Applied Developmental Psychology from the University of Guelph. Jennifer has worked at the Hospital for Sick Children in the Learning Disabilities Research Program and has experience conducting educational research with the research department at the Toronto School Board. She gained practicum experience at the Waterloo Region District School Board and worked as a Psychoeducational Consultant for the Halton District School Board for eight years. Jennifer has extensive experience conducting psychological assessments for a wide range of difficulties, with particular experience in learning and behaviour difficulties and assessments for Autism Spectrum Disorders. Jennifer enjoys working with children with Autism and counselling and supporting parents of children with Autism. Jennifer sits on the collaborative committee for Autism Services Waterloo Region and is a parent mentor for the Waterloo Region Family Network. Jennifer also teaches an undergraduate course in Educational Psychology at the University of Guelph.
In her spare time she enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time with her husband and two young boys.
